2-DAY FEDEX (Home Delivery) $49 - TARANTULAS (Cages, supplies &/or feeders)

I must recieve an email with a photo of any issue(s) within ONE HOUR of arrival. Please, please be there to receive your shipment so I can continue offering home delivery for all my customers. Cages, feeders & supplies can be added to this shipping option. I highly recommend getting the FedEx app to better manage your Jamie’s and other FedEx shipments. 

2-DAY FEDEX (HOLD AT HUB) $39 ($49 plus $10 store credit) - TARANTULAS (Cages, supplies &/or feeders) 

I very much encourage everyone to have their order held for pickup and as a result I am offering $10 store credit! For this special offer you must include the FedEx (or FedEx partnered facility) address as the “Ship to” address upon checkout. I will automatically add $10 to your Jamie’s account when I print your label! This can be used towards a future order! Important: Please make sure the facility you’re shipping to accepts live shipments. For the live arrival guarantee/LAG an email with a photo must be sent the same day as the order arrived at it’s destination. Cages, feeders & supplies can be added to this shipping option. Find a hub that accepts live animals HERE. Many other FedEx pickup locations such as some Walgreens and some Dollar General stores accept live shipments, but it is best to check beforehand to be sure! I highly recommend getting the FedEx app to better manage your Jamie’s and other FedEx shipments. 

FOR THE 30-DAY TARANTULA HEALTH GUARANTEE

I must be contacted the same day of arrival with a photo of the Tarantula in one of Jamie’s enclosures. If any changes are suggested, they must be made within 24 hours and a new photo sent. A new photo must be sent once weekly and if changes are suggested, they must be made within 24 hours and a new photo sent demonstrating the changes. This way, Jamie can guarantee the Tarantula is cared for properly and can offer a 30 day health guarantee on any Tarantula shipped.

1-3 DAY USPS PRIORITY B. LATERALIS ONLY SHIPPING $20 

An email with a photo must be sent one hour from arrival time for the LAG for home delivery. For Hold for pickup, an email must be sent the same day as the order arrived a it’s destination. Please specify hold for pickup or home delivery in order notes. Those who want home delivery, please, please follow the rules so I can continue sending feeders to customers homes instead of requiring hold for pickup.

Shipping delays are always possible for any order: Please do not order unless you are willing & able to accommodate a possible shipping delay. Jamie packs accordingly and live arrival guarantee ALL properly received orders including delays.

Jamie’s regular shipping schedule is as follows. Orders placed:

Tuesday through Saturday will ship Monday
Saturday through Monday will ship Tuesday


The tracking link will be emailed via the evening the order is shipped. The tracking email will be sent separate of your ship notice email. The tracking link will appear "not scanned”, “not found" or "invalid" until the package is scanned at the main sort

Please be patient, tracking will update later that night, PST. The active tracking link will provide an expected delivery date. From the active link you're able to sign up for email or text alerts which I highly recommend. This will notify you via text or email when the package is out for delivery. Your order will ship as stated above PT. In some rare cases I am able to ship your order a day or more ahead of schedule, and will do so automatically. If your order must ship on a specific date (Shipping days are Monday and Tuesday only) Please indicate in the order notes. I pack according to the forecast on the scheduled arrival date.

Weather Watch - Shipping to areas with extreme weather:

I am committed to getting your order to you safely. How I Handle Weather Delays: I'll check the forecast every week to ensure the best shipping conditions. After the initial notification, I might not send follow-up emails, but rest assured I’m always keeping an eye on the weather and will ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking email to keep you posted on its journey. Shipping Requirements For safe shipping: I typically require temperatures to be consistently above freezing at night with no sudden dips and nothing in the forecast that might cause a delayed plane or truck. Need your order quickly despite unpredictable weather? If speed is a priority and the forecast isn't cooperating, consider selecting FedEx Hold for Pickup for a safer and smoother shipping experience.

In-stock guarantee: I take great pride in the accuracy of my online store. I guarantee the tarantula ordered is in stock, or else I will give you $5 store credit regardless if you deciede to proceed with the order.


Tarantulas are measured in inches, DLS  (outstretched diagonal leg span) This measurement is included in the title for easy reference. Here is: HOW TO MEASURE

Spiderlings (baby tarantulas) are sold as unsexed as they are far too small to determine or even guess their gender. Thank you for not asking us to "pick a female" or to send a larger/smaller specimen. Tarantulas will be sold as advertised. If an unsexed was ordered I will send an unsexed specimen regardless of customer requested gender preference in the order notes. With an unsexed tarantula the chance of getting a female is about 50/50. Here is how to determine gender & more details regarding Jamie’s gender policy. 

Occasionally I have "suspect males" available.  In this instance I have not been able to confirm gender 100% however, I speculate the specimen to be male. It is only fair to share this suspicion with the potential buyer. Gender is not guaranteed on suspect males.

Jamie does not sell "suspect females" at this time.

Jamie will always pick the healthiest & best-looking specimens to send.

Photos are stock photos representing the species unless otherwise stated. Photo requests are time consuming and can stress out the tarantula/ruin its home and often ends in me being itchy. 

Tarantulas are sold on a first-come first-serve basis. I do not hold tarantulas unless they are prepaid.

I an are currently unable to include freebies and/or discounts just because of a request in the order notes, email or otherwise. If such an arrangement is requested and I make a special exception it is unfair to everyone else who did not make the same request. If you are interested in discounts, coupons, freebies and announcements sign up for our newsletter. Newsletter subscribers occasionally get special offers delivered right to their inbox.

At this time I am unable to offer a refund for the cost of shipping for orders delivered late If desired, I am happy to provide all the information needed if the customer would like to fight in hopes of getting a shipping refund from the carrier.

Jamie is only one person and very much appreciates potential customers using the website and SpiderBot to research before considering committing to ownership of a live animal, many tarantulas live decades and they will appreaciate you taking the time to understand their needs, and although their needs are quite simple, they are specific! Please be patient. Jamie will personally get to your inquiry as soon as possible! Jamie is unable to offer phone support at this time and appreciates your understanding.

Tracking your package: Tracking is sent via an automated system. For this reason tracking emails sometimes get caught in spam/junk filters. I highly recommend adding Jamiestarantulas.com, JamiesOnTheWeb.com, FedEx.com, USPS.com & UPS.com to your "safe" list so there is no issue receiving your tracking information, order conformation or if I need to contact you. I want to make sure you receive your tracking information in a timely manner. If tracking is not received by 7PM PST the day the order ships please contact me for tracking information.
