Aphonopelma moderatum (Rio Grande Gold) 2 1/4-3" MALE

Uncommon and unusually marked, this stunning American species is found near the Rio Grande River in Texas and Northern Mexico. This species is desired by both beginner and experienced keepers due to it's unique markings, hardiness & rarity in the hobby. A long-lived species the females are known to sometimes live in excess of 30 years. 

Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x6” Terrestrial Kit w/Magnetic Lock or 4x4x5” Terrestrial w/Classic Porthole.  Either would for now, but would be snug and outgrown quickly. A larger enclosure like the 7x7x11” Terrestrial Enclosure Kit or 8x8x14" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit. would have a more than enough growing room!
