Brachypelma boehmei (Fire Leg Tarantula) 1 1/2-1 3/4" FEMALE #628

Brachypelma boehmei is also known as the Mexican Fire Leg, Blood Leg or Red Leg. This tarantula is collected by beginners and experienced keepers alike. This colorful tarantula would typically rather flee or flick hairs than bite. B. boehmei is extremely hardy. A long-lived species the females can live upwards of 30 years. 

Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x6" Terrestrial Kit w/Magnetic Lock or 4x4x5” Terrestrial w/Classic Porthole.  Either would make a great enclosure for this specimen until it’s large enough for a 7x7x11” Terrestrial Enclosure Kit or 8x8x11" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit.
