Formerly known as Grammostola aureostriata, Grammostola pulchripes or the Chaco golden knee tarantula. Adults are Dark in appearance with pink "hairs" and yellow striping on their knees. I have known specimens to reach 7-8”! Known for being more docile than most species of tarantula, they is not surprise they are one of the most popular beginner species!

Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x6" Terrestrial Kit w/Magnetic Lock or 4x4x5” Terrestrial w/Classic Porthole.  Either would make a great enclosure for this specimen until it’s large enough for a 7x7x11” Terrestrial Enclosure Kit or 8x8x14" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit. 

Currently feeding on:Medium B. lateralis.
