The Curly Hair would have fit in nicely with the 80s big hair scene. It's long, curly setae "hairs" give this species a very unique appearance, unlike any other tarantula. I not only love this spiders sense of style, it's also known for being docile (yet skittish) and quite hardy. For good reason they are one of our most requested and popular beginner tarantulas. A long-lived species the females are known to sometimes live in excess of 30 years. 

Recommended enclosure: A 4x4x6" Terrestrial Kit w/Magnetic Lock or 4x4x5” Terrestrial w/Classic Porthole.  Either would make a great enclosure for this specimen until it’s large enough for a 7x7x11” Terrestrial Enclosure Kit or 8x8x14" Terrestrial Enclosure Kit.
